Purpose

The Utah Department of Health provides grants for improving the statewide delivery of emergency medical services in Utah with a focus on rural areas of the state.

Licensed ground ambulance providers may request funding for the purchase of equipment and/or vehicles and for the recruitment, training, and retention of EMS providers.

Eligibility

Licensed ground ambulance providers in Utah are eligible to apply.

Award amounts are based on need, available funding, and the ranking of applications using a scoring rubric.
