Union Pacific Foundation Community Ties Giving Program: Local Grants
Grants to nonprofits to support direct services and capacity building efforts aimed at improving the quality of life in communities served by Union Pacific in the areas of safety, workforce development, community vitality, and environmental sustainability. Special emphasis is given to programs and organizations that advance the diversity, equity, and inclusion of underserved populations in target communities. Rural communities are a priority.

Personal Responsibility Education Program (PREP) Competitive Grants
Grants for projects that educate youth between 10 and 19 years of age and pregnant and parenting youth under age 21 on abstinence and contraception for the prevention of pregnancy, sexually transmitted infections, and human immunodeficiency virus/acquired immunodeficiency syndrome. Projects should focus on youth populations that are high risk, vulnerable for pregnancies, or otherwise have special circumstances, which includes Native American and rural youth.
