  • Program Overview: Fit for Life is a community outreach program that goes into neighborhoods, churches, libraries, and fellowship halls to emphasize realistic lifestyle changes that result in enhanced levels of health and fitness. Fit for Life is a 12-week individualized program in which participants meet once weekly for 90 minutes to customize fitness and diet plans developed by the Fit for Life team. The program's key fitness components are cardiovascular fitness, strength conditioning, and flexibility. The program's key nutrition components include nutritionally balanced, everyday foods with emphasis on moderation, variety, and avoidance of high calorie, high-fat foods.
