Supporting Rural Community Health
The Federal Office of Rural Health Policy (FORHP) supports a range of programs and tools to help rural communities improve the health of their residents. To ensure that limited resources are targeted to the most effective approaches, FORHP is committed to 1) helping build the evidence-base for rural programs and 2) funding rural community health projects that demonstrate a level of evidence. As each set of funded projects is completed, evaluations feed new knowledge back to the evidence-base, ensuring that each project benefits and informs communities all across the country.
