The Mary Kay Foundation Domestic Violence Shelter Grant Program awards grants to emergency women's domestic violence shelters. The funds may be used for the operating expenses.
Applicants operating emergency shelter (immediate overnight housing) for survivors of domestic violence are eligible to apply.
In 2017, the Foundation awarded $20,000 grants to more than 150 women’s domestic violence shelters across the nation for a total of $3,000,000.
The Foundation will award a grant to at least one domestic violence shelter in every state that applies, and many grants have gone to rural areas.
