The Lowe's Toolbox for Education Program provides grants for school improvement projects.

Projects for the 2017 grant cycle should be in one of the following categories:

  • Safety improvements
  • Technology upgrades
  • Tools for STEM programs
  • Facility renovations

Individual public K-12 schools or non-profit parent groups associated with public K-12 schools are eligible to apply. Parent groups that are applying independently must have an EIN and 501c(3) status from the IRS.

Award Ceiling: $5,000
Award Floor: $2,000

Only 10% of any award may be used toward outside resources, such as labor, installation, consultation, and delivery.

Application process

Additional guidance and a link to the online application form is available on the program website.

If 1,500 applications are received before the application deadline, then the application process will close and the "Apply Now" button will no longer appear on the website.
