The Pre-Graduate Scholarship Program provides financial support for American Indian and Alaska Native (federally or state-recognized) students to enroll in courses leading to a bachelor's degree in specific pre-professional areas, such as pre-medicine and pre-dentistry. There is no service requirement attached to the scholarship.
Descendants and members of federally or state-recognized tribes are eligible.
Applicants must be at the junior or senior level of a pre-medicine or pre-dentistry program leading to a bachelor of science degree.
Support covers tuition and required fees for health profession courses and additional educational and living expenses.
Scholarship recipients are also eligible to request funding for summer courses.
