The American Dental Association (ADA) Emergency Disaster Grant Program provides immediate financial assistance to dentists who are victims of a disaster at their primary residence. Funds can be used for food, bottled water, clothing, blankets, medicines and medical supplies, emergency shelter, and toiletries.

Emergency grant funds are limited to meeting disaster victims’ most urgent and vital emergency personal needs immediately following a disaster. They are not intended for long-term needs such as rebuilding homes and buildings, replacing household and personal belongings, or replacing lost income.


Any dentist who is a victim of a disaster declared by a government agency may apply. All requests must be made within 60 days of the occurrence.
