MedStart Summer Camp is designed to encourage Montana junior and senior high school students to pursue their interest in a variety of healthcare careers. AHEC focuses on accepting students who come from disadvantaged backgrounds, low-income families, rural areas, minorities, or will be first in their family to attend college. The aim of MedStart is to provide students, who may not otherwise have the opportunity, a chance to further explore healthcare careers and learn about college life.

Students must be under 18 and be current sophomores or juniors from a Montana high school to apply.
