Purpose

The Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee offers funding in several broad categories, including:

  • Health
  • Housing and community development
  • Human services
  • Employment and training
  • Animal welfare
  • Arts and humanities
  • Civic affairs and community planning
  • Conservation and environment
  • Education
  • Historic preservation
Eligibility

Nonprofit 501(c)(3) organizations legally chartered in Tennessee and government entities are eligible to apply. Organizations must be located in one of the 43 counties served by the Foundation.

Amount of funding

Grants will generally be limited to $5,000, but in some cases funding may be available up to $10,000.
