The Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee offers funding in several broad categories, including:

  • Education
  • Employment and training
  • Community development, improvement, and planning
  • Food security, nutrition, and agriculture
  • Conservation and environment

Nonprofit 501(c)(3) organizations legally chartered in Tennessee and government entities are eligible to apply. Organizations must be located in one of the 43 counties served by the Foundation.

Nonprofit organizations with budgets below $50,000, and/or nonprofits that have been in operation for 2 years or less are not eligible to apply.

Grants typically range from $4,000 - $6,000, but in some cases funding may be available up to $12,500.

Application process

Applicants must create a profile with by August 1, 2022 to be considered for funding.
