The Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee offers funding in several broad categories, including:
- Health
- Housing and shelter
- Human services
- Employment and training
- Community development, improvement, and planning
- Food security and nutrition
- Conservation and environment
Nonprofit 501(c)(3) organizations legally chartered in Tennessee and government entities are eligible to apply. Organizations must be located in one of the 43 counties served by the Foundation.
Nonprofit organizations with budgets below $50,000, and/or nonprofits that have been in operation for 2 years or less are not eligible to apply.
Grants will generally be limited to $5,000, but in some cases funding may be available up to $12,500.
