The Primary Care Resource Initiative for Missouri (PRIMO) Student Loan Program offers forgivable loans to primary care physicians, dentists, dental hygienists, psychiatrists, and other mental health practitioners who agree to practice in a Health Professional Shortage Area in Missouri upon completion of their degrees.

Applicants may either have loans forgiven by working in a rural or underserved area for the same amount of years as they accepted loans, or repay the balance with simple interest.

  • Pre-dental
  • Pre-medical
  • Dental school
  • Medical school
  • Psychologist
  • Residency programs
