Emergency Grants for Organizations Providing Dental Care Following a Disaster
The ADA Foundation is not currently accepting applications for the Emergency Disaster Grant Program, as funds have been depleted. Check the program website for updated information.
This program provides grants for 501(c)(3) organizations to provide needed emergency dental care in communities affected by a disaster.
A disaster is defined as a "sudden occurrence which inflicts widespread catastrophic damage to a large geographic area and/or which generally affects a large number of individuals." Disasters can be both natural and caused by human conduct.
Any U.S. based 501(c)(3) dental-related organization that provides emergency dental services within the U.S. to victims of a disaster is eligible to apply.
Grants may be up to $10,000. Award ceilings and the number of awards will depend on the number of applicants and the amount of funds available at any given time.
All requests should be made within 60 days of the occurrence of the disaster, unless a request is made and time is extended by the foundation's Board of Directors.
