The Kaiser Permanente Education Loan Repayment for Safety Net Clinic Support Staff Program offers loan repayment assistance to clinical support staff who work in professions requiring up to a bachelor’s degree at safety net healthcare sites in Colorado.

Awardees must agree to a one-year service commitment.


Current full-time clinic support staff employees who work at ClinicNET clinics, Rural Health Centers, or Community Health Centers in Colorado and have been employed with the clinic for at least 6 months are eligible to apply.

Clinic support staff includes health professionals who work directly with patients, such as:

  • Dental assistants
  • Dental hygienists
  • Lab technicians
  • LPNs and RNs
  • Medical assistants
  • Nursing aides
  • Pharmacy Technicians
  • Phlebotomists
  • Ultrasound and X-ray technicians

Amount of funding

Up to $10,000, dependent upon completed years of service at a safety net clinic site.
