Purpose

Massachusetts Connecting Consumers with Care awards funding to community-based organizations and health centers to:

  • Help clients obtain publicly subsidized coverage
  • Help maintain continuity of coverage through client education, proactive steps, or reminder systems to notify clients of impending deadlines, and assisting with completing redetermination applications
  • Address health insurance literacy needs for low-income and vulnerable populations
Eligibility
Community-based organizations and health centers in Massachusetts who serve low-income, vulnerable populations.

Award ceiling: $50,000 per year
Project period: 2 years

Application process

Submit an online letter of inquiry by June 20, 2019. Selected applicants will be invited to submit a full proposal, with a deadline of August 8, 2019.
