Purpose

The Helmsley Charitable Trust's Rural Health Program CT Scanner Replacement Initiative offers funding to qualifying hospitals in Iowa, Minnesota, Montana, Nebraska, North Dakota, South Dakota, and Wyoming for the purchase of a new 32 slice or higher CT scanner.

Eligibility

Applicants must:

  • Be a certified hospital in Iowa, Minnesota, Montana, Nebraska, North Dakota, South Dakota, or Wyoming
  • Be a 501(c)(3) or other tax-exempt hospital
  • Currently have no CT scanner or one that is 16 slice or lower
Geographic coverage
Iowa, Minnesota, Montana, Nebraska, North Dakota, South Dakota, and Wyoming
Amount of funding

Award Ceiling: $400,000
Estimated Number of Awards: 20

Application process

Applicants must submit an online letter of inquiry by December 9, 2016.

Selected applicants will be invited to submit a full proposal.
