Purpose

The Texas Veterans + Family Alliance (TV+FA) Grant funds developing or existing community collaboratives to provide new and/or enhanced services that address the mental health needs of veterans and their families.

Grant awards will be made to Community Collaboratives to:

  • Implement new or improved systems that coordinate and deliver mental health services
  • Provide supportive services essential to provision of mental health services
  • Develop and/or support the Community Collaborative with the goal of self-sustainment by the end of the grant period
Eligibility

Eligible applicants are nonprofit organizations and government entities representing a community collaborative as the lead applicant.

Amount of funding

The total allocation of funds is $20,000,000 over 2 years.

A 1:1 match is required. Match may be cash or in-kind services provided by private or local government funds.
