Purpose

The Rural Impact County Challenge (RICC) recognizes and supports counties making strides in reducing child poverty in rural communities.

The RICC consists of two components:

  • A call to action that asks counties to develop and implement a plan that will be used to achieve local and state-level impacts
  • National convening of challenge participants and thought leaders in person and in a monthly webinar series
Eligibility

Collaborations led by county governments are eligible to participate. A county elected official must be the lead applicant.

Application process

Counties interested in participating should complete the online application form at the bottom of the Rural Impact County Challenge website.
