Delaware Behavioral Health Electronic Medical Records Incentive Program

This program provides financial incentives for behavioral and mental health providers in Delaware to purchase new electronic medical records (EMR) systems or upgrade/enhance existing EMR systems for integration with primary care provider sites.


Eligible applicants are medical facilities in which one or more behavioral and/or mental health practitioners receive and treat patients. Applicants must have a business address in Delaware and possess all required permits and licenses for doing business in the state.

Amount of funding

Total funding available is $1,000,000 allocated over 3 years. Distribution of funding and number of awards will be based on the quantity and quality of eligible applications received.

Practice sites will be awarded a flat amount based on the number of providers affiliated with the site. A table showing award categories and estimated award amounts may be found in the application instructions.

Application process

Applications will be accepted on a rolling basis through October 3, 2018. A detailed schedule for application submission and review may be found in the application instructions.
