Purpose

The Association of State and Territorial Health Officials (ASTHO) provides technical assistance for health departments to build health agency capacity around performance management, quality improvement, systems improvement, and meet national Public Health Accreditation Board (PHAB) standards.

ASTHO will:

  • Provide one-on-one technical assistance and training from national subject matter experts
  • Connect health departments to a national peer-network of colleagues working in health departments with similar goals
  • Facilitate virtual and in-person evidence-based cohort learning
  • Provide opportunities to learn and apply model practices that strengthen infrastructure
Eligibility

Territorial and freely associated state health agencies are eligible to apply.
