Strengthening Public Health Infrastructure Through Innovation provides grants for innovative projects aimed at strengthening public health infrastructure, supporting ideas that foster learning, and transforming the way public health services are delivered in Missouri.

Rather than focusing on specific health issues, projects should focus on core components of public health infrastructure including:

  • Workforce
  • Data/information systems
  • The capacity of local public health agencies to provide public health services

Eligible applicants are Missouri nonprofit or governmental entities working in the public health field.

There is $3 million available for this program. A maximum request amount does not apply to this opportunity; requests should be reasonable and appropriate for the proposed project. Applicants may apply for up to 3 years of funding.
