Blue Cross Blue Shield of South Carolina Foundation funds projects that improve health outcomes and decrease health disparities for South Carolina residents, especially those that are economically vulnerable. Foundation priorities include oral health, mental health, diabetes, and social determinants of health.
- Access to care
- Building a stronger healthcare workforce
- Improving the quality and value of care
- Investing in the health and well being of children and families
- Research and special projects
Eligible applicants are:
- Nonprofit organizations that have 501(c)(3) tax-exempt status
- Government agencies
- Tax-exempt educational and research institutions
There is no maximum award amount for grant requests. The proposed budget must justify the amount requested.
Submit an online letter of intent by August 16, 2023. Selected applicants will be invited to submit a full application.
Applicants are strongly encouraged to contact a program officer to discuss any proposed project prior to submitting a letter of intent.
