Oregon Affordable Housing Projects for Veterans

Oregon Affordable Housing Projects for Veterans provides funding for affordable multifamily residential rental housing developments that serve qualifying low-income veteran populations, including rural housing and mental health supportive housing.
Eligible activities include new construction, acquisition, rehabilitation, and the provision of supportive services.
Eligible applicants are incorporated entities that can meet the threshold requirements described in the instruction manual.
The total program allocation is $8,000,000, with the following set-asides:
- $4,000,000 for rural areas (Up to $200,000 per affordable unit)
- $4,200,000 for mental health housing (Up to $50,000 per unit)
- $5,000,000 for Oregon Affordable Housing Tax Credit (OAHTC) projects
- $4,000,000 for urban areas (Up to $125,000 per affordable unit)
