Purpose

The NOSORH Rural Health Data Institute is a web-based training for individuals who work with rural health data. The program consists of 8 webinars, supplemental reading, quizzes/brief exams, session surveys, and a final evaluation.

Webinars will be Tuesdays from May 3, 2022 to June 21, 2022, from 3:00 – 4:30 p.m. Eastern. Sessions include:

    Creating a Data-Driven Culture

Eligibility

Intended participants are rural health stakeholders who want to learn the basics of finding, analyzing, or communicating data and creating a basic data skill set, including but not limited to:

  • State Offices of Rural Health, primary care Offices and nonprofit organizations
  • Organizations creating community-based health assessments or community health improvement plans (CHIP) in rural communities
  • Clinic or hospital staff
  • Program planners, grant seekers and outreach staff

The cost to participate is $500. Class size is limited to 60 participants.

When 4 participants from the same organization register at the same time, the 5th participant is free.
