The Dr. Wendy J. Wolf Health Leadership Award recognizes an an employee of a nonprofit organization in Maine that has demonstrated leadership in the areas of promoting access to healthcare for uninsured or underserved Maine people and/or in improving the health of people in Maine.
Nominees should exemplify the leadership qualities:
- Actively involved in leadership roles
- Demonstrates clear vision, innovation, and creativity in their work
- Clear contribution to their organization or to the greater community
- Demonstrates strong initiative in their endeavors with clear impact as a result of their actions
- Motivates or develops the leadership capacities of others
- Exhibits a high standard of integrity by leading through example
Eligible individuals are those with at least 10 years of leadership experience who are currently working for or serving on the Board of a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization in Maine.
The award includes a $10,000 gift to the nonprofit organization that employs the recognized leader.
