Veterans Housing Rehabilitation and Modification Pilot Program

The Veterans Housing Rehabilitation and Modification Pilot Program provides grants to rehabilitate and modify the primary residence of veterans who are low-income and living with disabilities.
Projects should demonstrate proposed outcomes in:
- Time savings
- Health and safety
- Mental wellness
- Lowered stress levels
- Ability to engage in previously inaccessible activities
Eligible applicants are 501(c)(3) and 501(c)(19) organizations that provide statewide or nationwide programs that primarily serve veterans and/or low-income individuals.
Award ceiling: $1,000,000
Award floor: $700,000
Project period: 3 years
Estimated number of awards: 10
Estimated total program funding: $10,270,000
A 50% match of cash and in-kind contributions is required.
