The Food Distribution Program on Indian Reservations (FDPIR) Nutrition Paraprofessional Training Project will provide funding to a single entity to develop and deliver a pilot nutrition paraprofessional training project for FDPIR staff working at local program sites. Training tools and resources should support the efforts of FDPIR local staff in conducting nutrition education activities for FDPIR participants who receive USDA foods.

- Accredited public and private academic institutes of higher education
- Research and training institutions
- Nonprofit organizations
Award ceiling: $500,000
Award floor: $100,000
Project period: 2 years
