COMPASS Initiative Transformative Grants
The Gilead COMPASS (COMmitment to Partnership in Addressing HIV/AIDS in Southern States) Initiative provides Transformative Grants to organizations across the southern United States to support the development and implementation of programs and activities that address the HIV/AIDS epidemic, including:
- Building Organizational Capacity - Capacity building activities focused on infrastructure development and coalition and network building with non-traditional partners
- Wellbeing, Mental Health, Trauma-Informed Care, Substance Use and Telehealth - Enhancing service provision around wellness, mental health, trauma informed care, substance use (especially opioid use), and telehealth and its intersection with HIV
- HIV-Related Stigma Reduction - Design, implementation, and evaluation of interventions to reduce HIV-related stigma
Applicants must be nonprofit 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organizations or have a fiscal sponsor with 501(c)(3) status.
Applicants must be be located in and provide services in one of 9 deep south states.
Award ceiling: $100,000
Project period: 1 year
