The Wisconsin Department of Health Services provides grants for the infrastructure planning and development of opioid treatment services in underserved areas of Wisconsin. Projects should focus on opioid treatment programs, telehealth, mobile medication-assisted treatment units, and emergency department or other hospital initiatives to develop buprenorphine induction for people with opioid use disorder prior to release, in high need and underserved areas of Wisconsin.


Eligible applicants include:

  • Public and nonprofit 501(c)(3) organizations
  • State, local and tribal governments
  • State, local, and non-profit educational institutions
