The Novartis COVID-19 Community Response Fund provides grants to support local initiatives and communities in the United States impacted by the COVID-19 outbreak.

Grants will support one or more of the objectives:

  • Strengthening local and national healthcare infrastructure to meet increased demand and protect front line health workers
  • Establishing digital platforms for COVID-19 related data collection, remote delivery of healthcare, and effective dissemination of important public health information
  • Creating or enhancing new community health programs specific to the pandemic response

Applicants must be 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations.

Priority will be given to areas where Novartis has a physical presence and where there is an acute need, including, but not limited to, NJ, MA, CA, IL, NC, and NY.

Geographic coverage
Applications are accepted nationwide, with priority given to areas where Novartis has a physical presence.
Amount of funding

Grants will range between $100,000 and $250,000 for a one-year project period.
