Purpose

The National COVID-Ready Caregiver Certification is an online training to help nursing homes, assisted living centers, and home and community-based service (HCBS) providers get their workforce COVID ready.

The agenda includes detailed training on COVID-19 basics and protecting providers and others.

The National COVID-Ready Caregiver Certification meets state requirements for 3 CNA CEU in 47 states, 3 long-term care worker CEUs in Washington state, and for 3 Homecare and Personal Support Worker CEUs toward Professional Development Certification safety or renewal as approved by the Oregon Home Care Commission.

Eligibility

The course is designed for CNAs, home care workers, family caregivers, RNs, PTs, OTs, and other healthcare professionals.
