The National Indian Health Board offers funding to tribes and tribal organizations to enhance preparation and readiness efforts that enable schools to safely operate during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Funding may be used for:

  • Materials and equipment acquisition
  • Facilities and infrastructure
  • Outreach and education
  • Training and technical assistance
  • Evaluation and assessment

Eligible applicants are federally recognized tribal governments, tribal organizations, and inter-tribal consortia.
