Healthcare Safety Net Adult Emergency Dental Extraction, Hygienic Cleaning Services with Educational Counseling and General Oral Health Services for Uninsured Adult Tennesseans Ages 19 through 64 Years of Age
The Tennessee Department of Health provides grants for clinics and community health centers to provide oral healthcare for uninsured adult Tennesseans 19-64 years of age.
Awardees must provide:
- Emergency dental extraction
- Preventive hygienic dental services
- Dental filling
- Dental procedures listed on the Dental Code Formulary
- Restorative services
Eligible applicants include:
- Community and faith-based organizations
- Rural Health Clinics
- Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHCs)
- FQHC Look-Alikes
The number and amount of grants awarded will depend on the availability of funding and number of applications received.
The project period is 8 months.
