Susan Watson, MPH

Together Toward Health initiative offers grants to community-based organizations in California to strengthen community response to the COVID-19 pandemic among populations disproportionately impacted by the virus, including Black, Latinx, Native American, immigrant, and low-income groups. Funding supports the development and expansion of targeted public outreach efforts to help reduce COVID-19 transmission. The program works to expand workforce development opportunities designed to build economic resilience and long-term opportunity in California communities with high rates of COVID-19.

Applications from farming communities and tribes are encouraged.
