The American Board of Telehealth offers a self-paced online training program for healthcare students and professionals covering CORE (Clinical, Operational, Regulatory, and Ethics) concepts for successful implementation and delivery of telehealth.

Program modules include:

  • Introduction to telehealth
  • Technology
  • Telepresence skills
  • Legal, regulatory, and quality
  • Licensing, credentialing, and privileging
  • Reimbursement
  • Ethical considerations

Course syllabus


The course is designed for healthcare students and professionals interested in or currently practicing telehealth including physicians, advanced practice providers, pharmacists, nurses, social workers, healthcare administration, and information technology, as well as healthcare organizations and educational institutions.

Registration cost is $395 for individuals and $195 for students.

Participants will receive a certificate. Continuing education credits are available.
