Purpose

NextFifty Flexible Support Grants provide funding to organizations or programs working to enhance the lives of adults age 50 and older and/or their caregivers in the areas of healthy aging, access to care and support, and addressing ageism, racism, and systemic inequities. Emphasis is placed on projects and programs focused on serving the most underserved older adults, including but not limited to the following groups:

  • Communities of color
  • Disabled
  • Homeless
  • LGBTQ+
  • Low-income
  • Immigrant/refugee
  • Rural and other vulnerable communities
Eligibility

Eligible applicants are nonprofits organized under sections 501(c)(3), 501(c)(4), and 501(c)(6) of the IRS code and governmental entities located in Colorado.

Universities are not eligible to apply.

Award ceiling: $150,000

Applicants are encouraged to request only what they need for their program or project to be successful. Organizations that have not yet completed an external audit or those with an audit older than December 31, 2020 are limited to funding requests of $30,000 or less.
