Wisconsin American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) Broadband Access Grants
Wisconsin Broadband Access Grants provide American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) funds to eligible public and private entities in Wisconsin to extend reliable, affordable, high-speed broadband communications services to underserved areas of the state. Applicants must demonstrate how the project will enable remote school, healthcare, work, and other critical activities.
Eligible applicants are public and private entities in Wisconsin from the Coronavirus State Fiscal Recovery Fund that meet the eligibility requirements set forth in the American Rescue Plan Act of 2021, PL 117-2.
Eligible organizations include:
- Internet service providers
- Telecommunications utilities
- Local governments
- For-profit and nonprofit organizations
Award amounts are not specified.
Applicants will receive priority based on the percentage of matching funds proposed for the project and the variety of sources for the matching contribution.
