Purpose

The National Children's Center for Rural and Agricultural Health and Safety (NCCRAHS) will provide funding to test, implement, or recommend strategies that are likely to identify causes, effects, and prevention interventions in response to emerging health and safety concerns of children working on, living in, or visiting agricultural environments.

The 2023 funding cycle will focus on:

  • Impact on people who are at an increased risk for agricultural health and safety concerns and currently underserved by research and prevention materials
  • Public/organizational policies that safeguard youth in agriculture
  • Leverage of existing NCCRAHS resources or materials
Eligibility

Junior faculty, principal investigators, project leaders, and senior/tenured researchers and staff are eligible to apply.

Geographic coverage
Nationwide
Amount of funding

Up to $25,000 for research and up to $15,000 for non-research projects.

Email a letter of intent to nccrahs@marshfieldresearch.org by June 30, 2023. Selected applicants will be invited to submit a full proposal, with a deadline of August 15, 2023.
