Purpose

LoanPLUS is a program offered by Community Health Center Capital Fund, a Community Development Financial Institution (CDFI). The program provides loan capital and technical assistance designed to meet the needs of smaller health centers and/or those with limited financial resources. Health centers that have not been able to access financing through conventional lenders are encouraged to apply.

Borrowers will receive a customized report from affiliate organization, Capital Link, for each year the loan is outstanding. Reports may include:

Borrowers will also receive up to 5 hours of consultation in the areas of:

  • Sustainability and growth
  • Accessing capital
  • Improving and optimizing operations
  • Financial management
  • Articulating health center value
Eligibility

Eligible applicants include:

  • Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHCs), including Section 330 grantees and Look-Alikes
  • FQHC-sponsored organizations and projects
  • Other similar nonprofit organizations

Smaller community-based health centers and/or those with limited financial resources are encouraged to apply.
