The Healthy Alaska Natives Foundation's Luminary Awards recognize individuals and organizations for their dedication and outstanding contribution to the Alaska Tribal Health System and community. Award categories in 2023 include:

  • President's Legacy and Leadership Award: recognizing a tribal health leader and/or health care professional and expert in their field who has displayed a long-term commitment to helping improve the Alaska Tribal Health System
  • Distinguished Provider Award: recognizing a health care provider whose dedication has made a difference in the lives of their patients and in the Alaska Tribal Health System
  • Outstanding Rural Health Champion Award: recognizing individuals, departments or organizations in rural Alaska who have made an outstanding contribution to the enhancement of rural life, people, and/or programs

Individuals and organizations who have positively impacted Alaska Native health are eligible.
