The Montana Department of Agriculture will provide funding to address mental health needs in rural communities and the agriculture industry through the use of mental health speakers; workshops; and training in the areas of emotional, psychological, and social well-being.
Activities may include, but are not limited to:
- Mental health speaker at a conference
- Mental health awareness workshops
- Trainings to help increase knowledge and skills on recognizing mental health issues
- Stress assistance workshops
Eligible applicants are community organizations in Montana that are registered with sam.gov and registered and in good standing with Montana Secretary of State.
Award ceiling: $10,000
Award floor: $1,000
Total program funding: $150,000
Project period: The last day to complete
project activities is August 31, 2024.
