Purpose

PacificSource Health Plans will provide grants for healthcare providers in Idaho, Montana, Oregon, and Washington for projects designed to lower costs, provide a better patient experience, offer a higher quality of care, improve provider experience, and improve the health of the community.

One-year projects must fall into one or more of the following categories:

  • Advancing healthcare integration
  • Addressing health disparities and promoting equity
  • Developing the provider workforce
  • Considering and/or aligning with identified community health needs

Multi-year projects must fall into one or more of the following categories:

  • Increasing access to behavioral health (BH) services that are culturally and linguistically responsive
  • Increasing rural BH access
  • Increasing BH access for communities of color or other marginalized populations
  • Increasing access to treatment services for substance use disorders
Eligibility

Applicants must be a contracted PacificSource provider or have an affiliation/contracted referral agreement with a contracted PacificSource provider or provider group. The project must benefit all patients, regardless of their insurance status.

Geographic coverage
Idaho, Montana, Oregon, and Washington
Amount of funding

One-year requests should not exceed $100,000. The average funding range is $30,000 - $50,000.

Multi-year requests should not exceed $150,000.

Multi-year applicants must submit an online letter of intent by April 13, 2023. Selected applicants will be invited to submit a full proposal, with a deadline of August 24, 2023.

The deadline for one-year applicants to submit an online application is August 24, 2023.
