The Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services will provide funding for Emergency Medical Services (EMS) agencies in Nebraska for the purchase of an ambulance, EMS equipment, or both.
Ambulance awards are for the purchase of ground transport ambulances only.
Approved pediatric and adult equipment includes:
- Cardiac monitors
- Stretchers
- Stretcher loading systems
- Automated external defibrillators (AEDs)
- ALS Ventilators
- Automated CPR devices
- Other types of equipment may be submitted and will be reviewed on a case by case basis.
Priority for equipment purchases will be given to Emergency Medical Services that are volunteer and have their primary response area in a community with a population of fewer than 100,000 inhabitants.
Licensed EMS agencies in Nebraska are eligible to apply.
Ambulance funding level: Up to
$150,000
Equipment funding level: Up to $50,000
