Share Your Community's COVID-19 Innovations

Jun 1, 2020

How have families, businesses and key sectors of your community (agriculture, healthcare, human services, schools) had to innovate in the face of the COVID-19 pandemic? Share the creative ways you are adapting to the current situation with other rural communities. Your examples may be included in the Rural COVID-19 Innovations collection. We are looking for best practices, lessons learned, and other examples across a wide range of activities, including:

  • Healthcare innovations
  • Protecting the health and safety of emergency responders
  • Providing childcare
  • Remote work with children at home
  • Supporting caregivers
  • Ensuring that lower-income individuals and older adults have access to food and other essential products and services
  • Addressing broadband challenges and other barriers to thriving in the current environment
  • Supporting local businesses to ensure the economic viability of the community going forward
  • Any other examples you might have

Please email your examples to Kristine Sande at kristine@ruralhealthinfo.org with the subject line: COVID-19 Innovations.
