Indian Health Service Announces National Expansion of the Community Health Aide Program

The Indian Health Service (IHS) announced the national expansion of the Community Health Aide Program (CHAP), which provides education and training to tribal community health providers. The CHAP model increases access to healthcare in rural and remote areas of Indian Country by delivering care to patients in their own environment.
