Health Advocacy Summit 2021
Jul 16, 2021
The Health Advocacy Summit (HAS) is a nonprofit organization that facilitates events, programs, and meetings for young adults with all chronic and rare conditions. The HAS facilitates roughly six virtual meetings per month and develops advocacy campaigns in higher education, civic engagement, and more.
On August 7-8, 2021, the HAS is hosting its second International Virtual Summit for young adults with chronic and rare conditions. Participants will explore identities of being young and chronically ill through sessions such as mental health, global health policy, media representation, and hear from speakers such as Selma Blair. The HAS is hoping to recruit more young adults with chronic and rare conditions from rural communities. Visit the event page and register for free!
