Child Maltreatment 2018

Reports on children who received a child protective services, children who died of abuse and neglect, and children who are victims of maltreatment on the national level using data collected from the National Child Abuse and Neglect Data System (NCANDS). Provides comments regarding the availability and access to child protective services in rural areas of Indiana, Iowa, Minnesota, Nevada, and North Dakota, and how some counties respond to child abuse and neglect screenings, referrals, and the provision of services.
