Skills Course Helps Rural Surgeons Stay Current

Description
Describes the components of the Nora Institute Advanced Skills Course for Rural Surgeons, a multidisciplinary curriculum developed by rural and academic surgeons and consisting of 10 modules which are rotated annually. The first course was offered in connection with the North Dakota and South Dakota chapters of the American College of Surgeons, with future courses planned for Utah, New Mexico, and Alabama.
