The Rural Obesity Prevention Toolkit helps communities assess factors contributing to obesity, identify community stakeholders, and learn about successful program models and evidence-based community interventions.
The toolkit is made up of several modules, each concentrating on different aspects of obesity prevention programs, such as “Understanding Obesity,” and “Evidence-Based Interventions.” The toolkit, available on the Rural Health Information Hub web site, was developed by the NORC Walsh Center for Rural Health Analysis as part of the Community Health Gateway.
