Helping Grantees Evaluate Their Project Results and Identify Effective Interventions

The Federal Office of Rural Health Policy (FORHP) encourages its grantees to evaluate the effectiveness of FORHP-funded projects.

Through the Rural Health Information Hub’s guide, Conducting Rural Health Research, Needs Assessment, and Program Evaluation, grantees can learn more about Program Evaluation.

Recommendations of effective approaches, based on FORHP-grantee experiences, are shared with rural communities via evidence-based toolkits hosted in RHIhub's Community Health Gateway.

You can also read stories about rural health programs and interventions that have demonstrated success in research studies and program evaluations, as well as anecdotal accounts, in the RHIhub’s Rural Health Models and Innovations and the Rural Monitor’s Around the Country series.
