HHS Announces the Availability of $25.5 Billion in COVID-19 Provider Funding
Sep 10, 2021 -- Announces $25.5 billion of funding to support healthcare providers impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic, including $8.5 billion for providers who serve rural Medicaid, Medicare, or Children's Health Insurance Program (CHIP) patients. Funding also includes $17 billion for Provider Relief Fund (PRF) Phase 4, which is based on lost revenues and expenditures from July 1, 2020 - March 31, 2021.

Sep 13, 2021 -- Notice from the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) adopting the May 14, 2019, interim final rule regarding the parameters for Veterans Care Agreements (VCA) and responding to comments on the interim final rule. VCAs allow veterans to receive hospital care, medical services, and extended care services from community providers when the VA cannot provide the care that is needed.

American Rescue Plan Provider Relief Fund New Distributions
Relief funds for hospitals and other healthcare providers to support expenses and lost revenue due to COVID-19. An additional $8.5 billion in relief funds is available for providers who serve rural patients.
